What to expect for 2027

Most of the industry's new-model announcements land in January around SHOT Show 2027, which runs January 19-22, 2027 at The Venetian Expo and Caesars Forum. In 2026, 77 of the 128 products we track were announced in January. With the federal NFA tax at $0 for suppressors, SBRs, SBSs and AOWs, it's a fair bet that short, suppressor-ready guns will be a theme, but that's our expectation, not an announcement.
